Urgent Request for Prayer and fasting for Middle East Christians‏

Prayer and fasting for Middle East Christians‏

PEACEThe email was sent today and asked for us to pray and fast tomorrow for the urgent situation in the Middle East.   If you have heard of this and can do so tomorrow God Bless You!  However,  keep in mind that any day you choose next week or the upcoming weeks until God hears and answers our prayers for the safety of  Christians who are persecuted by hammas in the Middle East and have to flee their homes and country.  Pray also  for the safety of Israel!  All concerned Christians and Muslims of good will are asked to pray and fast together for thes intentions. God can find a solution to the conflicts if we are open and respect each other and pray together.  If we can do nothing else for the peace of Jerusalem,  we can and should  pray for it!

Dear subscriber,

We are sending you this urgent message because of the critical situation of the Christian communities in Iraq, Syria and the Middle East. Through their bishops, they are asking us for our support at this time of great difficulties for them. These communities need our prayers and our help. Together we can be of great assistance. Please join us this Friday 25th July, for the first day of prayer and fasting initiated by Cardinal Philippe Barbarin of Lyon France.

EVANGELIZO is taking the initiative to collect donations to give emergency aid to persecuted Christian communities, especially for the refugees in Iraq and Syria. All donations will be given to the local Christian communities through Aid to the Church in Need and L’Œuvre d’Orient, two Catholic organisations which specialise in direct aid to local communities.  We will inform you of the total sum and the specific use of the collected funds.  Your entire donation will be given, without administrative fees. A tax receipt will be sent to you upon request.

We thank you in advance for any donation you can make, please specify “Middle East Christians”
–          on the back of your cheque and send to Evangelizo-Daily Gospel, 4, Quai Koch 67000 Strasbourg – France
–          in the “online message”, which can be found on the second page of the donation form, if you decide to use the on line donation system, accessible at the following address  : http://dailygospel.org/donation/AM/

Whether or not you can make a donation, please join in prayer with the Christians who are suffering for bearing witness to Our Lord, we all pray for peace in the region.

Our warmest thanks in advance.
Yours in Christ,

The Daily Gospel Team.
